.XXX domains blocked
Found a semi-interesting article on Foxnews.com earlier regarding celebrities having their names removed from being available for .XXX domains.

And for free!
Didn't Stuart claim it would be very costly and complicated to do this for industry companies that have no interest in .XXX? At least they told us when we put them on notice that we expect them to not allow registration of our marks... Weird huh? |
I can understand them .

they could keep their tld private and only for those bro assholes ...

Many of the big brands in adult put them on notice just as Manwin did. Lots privately without press. My guess is more put them on notice than did not. |
I mentioned this in past posts , I think this is a clever marketing ploy.
the celeb or big brand names that ICM reserves will they simply not exsist if someone types in the url or will they go to a landing page that ICM sets up ? if its a landing page of some type then its great free branding for ICM and .XXX at the expense of the celeb name or brand....think about it. My money is on they will use a branded landing page with text saying " Not available to be registered" blah blah and a big logo ! Hell it wouldnt even surprise me if they put paid links on it . |
Moniker told me I have to pay almost $200 to opt-out of .xxx
