That has to be the most retarded, poorly thought out and unattractive design i've ever seen by someone who has spent most of his years in this biz (what? over 13-14 at least?) trying to position himself as an online marketing guru and design guru. Bevel/emboss? Drop shadows? Really? The Vitruvian Man cropped and obscured and looking at first glance like a piece of a 15th century map of Africa or some shit. What a mess.

You should go back to selling pre-made templates as your own designs as you started out doing.

OHHH... shocker! Even the code that you commented out on your home page suggests its a template that you bought and then hastily changed the graphics for it.

Bevel/emboss and drop shadows rule. Everyone knows that. I'll never understand why people hate them, should we all have flat, boring graphics?

I threw that thing up in 15 minutes a few years ago just to have a "resume" page while I built something that I liked. The good news is I ended up getting so busy doing work for a handful of clients that I never bothered to change anything. Nor has it been important to ever finish up my own page even now because 95% of my business is buying and selling traffic, not design. I don't think anyone looking for ad spots really gives a shit about a bevel from a template I stuck on a site that long ago.

If you really care about what kind of work I can do ask Aziani or Max Cash or any of a handful of others.

The real question is, why would someone bother to randomly attack a guy's site who they don't even know in a post that talks about nothing related to that site? I could see if I was posting about what an awesome designer I was. Did someone piss in your Wheaties this morning or what?

The point was simply that it was always a ruse and always a joke and just because few people today know who you are - doesn't mean you have any more class or are any less full of shit.

Again, I didn't say I was busy doing design. In fact, I expressly said that I was mostly dealing with traffic. I'm not sure how that is some desperate ruse when it's just the direction business took.

Making posts as some plea for attention? Didn't you just describe most of the boards? Sometimes I post random shit just cuz it's funny, sometimes I'm looking to "get out there," sometimes it's specifically for business.

I've done good by a lot of people over the years and I still try to do so.
