Consequences of using mainstream backlinks for Non Nude porn

Hello,

I would love to get some feedback on an interesting question.

I subscribe to a mainstream backlink list service, so each month I get a list of pr4-7 backlinks from mainstream blogs that allow me to create profiles or profile comments with targeted anchor text links.

I have found a fetish non nude porn niche that for some longtail keywords should not be too hard to rank for with these backlinks.

What are the possible consequences of backlinking from a mainstream source to a porn freesite or even paysite?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Relevancy is the absolute key. If the links aren't relevant you might as well just spam your link away with xRumer. You really need to study some good backlinking and SEO courses to understand why this is. Do the Market Samurai Training or even better check out the SEO and Link Building tutorials on Insiders

I understand basic seo. I would not be trying to take out competitive keywords. I would use those high pr backlinks with targeted anchor text to a basic seo'd webpage and attempt to rank for specific longtails that have pages with 1=10 serps without backlinks and without specific onpage seo.

What I am really asking is if there are any penalties by Google for using mainstream backlinks for the purpose of improving my website's porn serps. Normally i would not consider doing this but it is a non nude, non sex act fetish niche.

Thanks

If Google knows your site is porn and you have incoming mainstream links they will be ignored. They have absolutely ZERO effect on your rankings because they are thrown out as PAID BACKLINKS. No reputable mainstream site links directly to a porn site period.

Dont mix the two its a death sentence for ranking.

Wrong.TMZ regularly links to Vivid. Other gossip blogs link to Vivid, Wicked and Digital Playground. I consider Tiny Nibbles to be mainstream and she links to porn sites. Village Voice has linked to porn sites. There are plenty of other instances.

Splum,

You say "Paid Backlinks" will be ignored but that statement doesnt necessarily mean that, "its a death sentence for ranking" right?

Again my question is whether Google imposes a PENALTY for mainstream links to a pornsite.

A secondary question is whether Google's relevance disparity algorithm raises a bigger red flag for backlinks from a mainstream blog to a borderline porn fetish site, or for backlinks from a blog about Ford truck alternators to a site about pitbull puppies.(ie: random mainstream to random mainstream)

Thanks

about your question, from experience high pr mainstream backlinks to an adult site will send lots of link juice. so do it.

trust me, all the mainstream backlinks the big tubes got from news sites did not hurt their rankings at all. if anything they cemented their serps for a long time.

Got evidence contrary, I back my statement up with extensive testing.

NO. 100% NO. Its impossible to get penalized for something that is out of your control. The only thing that can happen is you will not gain much juice from it. With that said if you can get some backlinks take them.
But these days social media backlinks are more important then website backlinks.

Very good question...

Link is a link.. As long as you are not reported or google does a manual stop.. you are all good !
