Looking For A Adult Web Host
 

Hi,

Does anyone have an idea how much bandwidth a porn blog would potentially need, lots of variables, but lets assume 1K Unique visitors a day, blog not heavily picture dependant. Just trying to get a gauge before I purchase hosting.

Any suggestions?

One way to figure it out is to find out what the approximately average webpage size (KB) is. Then multiply that by then number of visitors and then by 31 (number of days in the month).

Here is a really rough worksheet:

1,000 Number of Daily Visitors
5,000 X Average Filesize in KB
5,000,000 = Total Daily KB Needed
/ by 1048536
4.77 = Total Daily GB Needed
31 X Number of Days in the Month
148 = Total Monthly GB Needed

But from what you describe it doesn't sound like it will use a lot at all.
