Haven't made my mind up yet whethere to try it out or just wait for MW3 instead...

I just picked this up for the PS3 last night...played a bit of single player, 1 game of multiplayer...I'm not too sure on this one, the original consumed a good part of my 20's so I felt, hell I better get this thing...all in all i find the single player part of it too different from what I was expecting out of a battlefield game, no bots/quick combat to check out the levels, etc...just go right in against 12 yr olds...

I'll give it a bit more time, anyone else on PS3...hit me up, add to list...

I dunno wether to get it or not yet, also, I'm unsure what console to get it on, my Xbox or my PS3. Most of the guys in the office are on Xbox but my friends back in Scotland are on PS3.

I'm playing Payday: The Heist, this game is beast.

I didn't see in the store last night, which was fine by me. I'm not the type of person who needs to get it the first week, and even more so being as I'm a PC guy who plays online. Give it a few weeks until everyone figures out how to configure the servers.

I play the PC version btw.

I played the beta, this game rocks. It's not like BFBC2 or even BF2/BF2142. It's less action herorism and more realism - or at least that's what I learned from the few hours I played.

I've tried 2 hours now, can't get the shit to run though. But it's launch day here in EU so that's to be expected. I'll try again tomorrow :) hope to see some of you ingame haha

Just posted this video giving my first thoughts on the Campaign.

I'm so glad I rented from RedBox for PS3, instead of paying 50 buck for the PC version. I hear you can get through the campaign in 4 hours -- and I'm not much for Multiplayer. Although I will admit that if any game will get me back into multiplayer, this one could be it.

It is really an amazing looking game.
It is not for me to many buttons involved i preffer simple point and shoot games.

The whole battle field franchise has always been about multiplayer, most of the earlier versions didn't even have a campaign. Only single player with bots (that was pretty lame lol).

I never got to play yesterday and today I have to wait until I'm done with work lol, so tempting to just boot it up and try :D must resist!

The online-store I bought it from will mail it TODAY so I will get it on Monday. :(

BF3 rocks. I am happy to play it (tough just 1 hour per day) to release my frustration about the bad sales since October 13... BTW: here it was released last wednesday (26th) and I picked up my copy right away!

Yes it is very good.
Multiplayer is very smooth and fast.
I am on PS3 and there's only 24 players so on PC it will be better (64 players). I used to play BF1942 (yes that's about 10 years ago) on PC but the graphics are now just much better. Last year I played Call Of Duty Black Ops but BF3 is just much better.

I am not a freaky player (I only play about 30 minutes - 1 hour per day to relieve some stress) but I do this for years and this is the best I have ever seen!

I am a huge MW3 fan so i think i am going to wait until that comes out in a week or so and pick that up. Seannanners likes the Battlefield game though :-)

Im amazed at how much of a mess the beta was so close to launch. So you guys are saying the MP experience is real clean and bug free? PS3 especially.

I never played BF, any of them, so I will just choose the one I know and play the multiplayer.

I've been playing it for a few hours today.. so far I'm not too impressed by the game play-
The gfx is stunning, but bc2 seems a lot more fun to play so far..

It insanely hard to spot your enemies in bf3 compared to bc2 .. and as a sniper you are almost impossible to spot

I'm usually on fifa12, madden, mw2, soon to be mw3, and possibly BF3.

? the game has all scopes 'reflecting light'.. theyre a lot easier to spot

The only reason I'd be playing that game is because I wait for COD MW3 to come out.

2 weeks to get sniped and medic farmed, before enjoying some good multi!
