Is there anything wrong with my join page.
Please have a look at http://join.kinkykicks.net/signup/signup.php?nats=MC4wLjEuMS4wLjAuMC4wLjA&step=2 and let me know if you rhink this looks straight forward for surfers.
I've had the worst week of sales for years and last week we also went live with Nats which has presented more options to fill out to join. It could be a coincidence but I'm just looking at all the options! I see some people don't even have a pre-join page and point straight to CCBill. Has anyone tried this and does it convert better, worse or same? |
Sorry about the typos. Damn iPhone!
|
Personally I don't think you are drawing enough attention to your forms. I had to look over to the right to find them. I think they should be very apparent and right in my face. Also, your clickable buttons for options actually had me confused. I was afraid if I clicked one I would be taken to a different page.

Cock is very small.

Get that form FRONT and CENTER
|
have you tried out any trial options?
|
it have nothing to do with your join page, it is autumn slowdown ... no summer, but autumn ... sales are down all around, doesnt matter what few one sale per day say ... :2 cents: wish you best with your business everyone! :thumbsup

I think people are generally more comfortable entering "any" info on a Ccbill or Epoch page that they know and love, particularly if you have a lot of UK traffic. If they have to do it on the website it itself it might make them think twice. They might even look for the secure page indicator and not seeing it, not bother.

Just a few suggestions...
1. Use a smaller header graphic so you don't make them have to scroll down so much to see the form and information. 2. Move the form to the left side and have the text to the right of it instead. 2. Words really do matter. You can rewrite some of the text in the What Do Our Members Get section. For example, the part about Hours of Entertainment sounds like there's not much content. You'll do better with a phrase like "hour after hour" instead of "up to several hours." Little things like replacing the word "however" with the word "yes" in the High Definition section should help a bit too. Also, you need to say something besides "Receive Emails" with that pre-checked option below the email field. You want to tell them what they'll receive from you and promise them no spam or selling their info to others. As far as linking directly to the CCBill join page instead of using a pre-join page, you want to consider the value to you of the email addresses you can collect using a pre-join page. There are potential members who may not complete the signup process but who can still be converted later with good follow-up mailings if you have their email address. But that depends on having a very good mailing plan in place. If you're not doing that, and aren't working on a way to do that, then linking directly to the CCBill join page may be worth testing. Header is way too big !
Surfer is on that page to pay, nothing more... No need to show him a huge pic ! |
Solid advice already posted here, but I strongly agree with shrinking your header graphic and getting your form more visible.
|
Thanks for all the input. All very useful.
I often thought the header was a little on the large side, but that was implemented by the designer at the beginning of the year and it hasn't caused any major issue before. I'm looking at the best way to tweak things now. |
I would:
reduce the size of the header significantly shorten the sales text on the left to one rich sentence each point make the additional sites thumbs much larger maybe use teaser thumbs around the form |
Focus on one join option. Too many choices freak people out. People are stupid and get confused easily.

I agree on the form. Keep it simple and give it focus. Consider cutting down the text. It's usually an impulse buy and you don't want people thinking twice. Some will feel they need to read all the text on the page before committing to make sure they aren't scammed.

I know it's common and almost universally accepted now but some of us really do care and watch for this. For instance I notice Clubdom goes straight to the ccbill form. I appreciate that because I know "if I'm not making money neither are they." I understand the need to monetize as much as possible but either I want a cut or I want to be sure the funny business is kept to minimum. |
I have now done the following:
1) Reduced Header Size. 2) Reduced Billing Options. 3 Changed reasons to join text. 4) Lowered price! If it doesn't make any difference then it really must be a mother of Autumn slow downs! |

Good luck with nats :2 cents: |
1) Try to fix the alignment of your join form. You have some stuff aligned right, some centered, nothing is uniform.
2) You may want to get a SSL cert and add the words "Your Transaction is 100% Secure" and maybe also say something above or below the form that you get instant access once you pay and that you can cancel anytime to ease fears. 3) Work your bonus sites into the reasons to join area and move it up on the page. Currently I had no idea it was there until I scrolled down. 4) Try to condense the text a bit more so your bullet points fit on 1 line. Example "New exclusive content added frequently." wraps to 2 lines. Your text is a bit redundant. Suggestions: "FREQUENT UPDATES! - New exclusive content added frequently." could be: - Frequent Updates. We shoot new, 100% exclusive content every ___ days. "HARD BALLBUSTING - Featuring some of the cruelest and sexiest babes on the planet!" could be: "Hard Ballbusting action with the cruelest, sexiest babes." "DOWNLOAD TO KEEP! - Download ALL of our movies to KEEP. Or simply stream tube style if you prefer." could be made into 2 short lines: - Enjoy unlimited online viewing of streaming videos - Download all of our movies and keep them forever I hope this is helpful. join form should be in middle and bigger ,
compare yours with this one., http://track.dmilf.com/signup/signup...4wLj A&step=2 |
Good advice already posted.
My thoughts, for what it's worth: 1) Header needs to be half that height. 2) Don't say SIGN UP PAGE, it makes it sound like a financial commitment - try "INSTANT ACCESS" or some such 3) No one cares about seeing big logos of the file formats you offer. Swop that out with images of the porn you offer! 4) The i, ii, iii makes it read like a legal document. Just bullet points are fine 5) The copy in the points is bad and clumsy English. FREQUENT UPDATES! - New exclusive content added frequently. Now, is that really the MOST compelling USP you have? It's not, is it. Now, aside from the fact it's badly worded, it's not sexy and it's not making me get my card out. - Exclusive FemDom movies - You get instant access to our entire archive. 5 years worth of the cruelest Dommes dishing out the most depraved punishments - Hard Ballbusting - Get off on seeing men writhe around in agony as gorgeous Dommes punish their unworthy balls? We've got the very best ball busting beauties. - Downloadable videos and pictures: You get to keep EVERYTHING we've EVER made. No streaming, no DRM. All the hardcore FemDom films we've made will be yours to keep forever in just a few minutes. Fill in the short form to the right now - BONUS - get instant access to two other sites, Ballbusting Fantasies and Tyrant Teasers. We know you're gonna love them 6 - Don't say CREATE AN ACCOUNT say YOU'RE SECONDS AWAY FROM ALL OUR PORN, or words to that effect. 7 - Make more of the email sign up. "Free sexy newsletter - we promise we'll never, ever sell, rent or giveaway your details to anyone. Ever." 8 - Don't say PAY NOW, say LET ME INSIDE, or INSTANT ACCESS, or GO GO GO, or DOWNLOAD FEMDOM MOVIES NOW etc 9 - Make that 'pay now' button green. HTH. |

Truthfully, if someone has hit this page already, they are probably more than likely going to join, but as they change their mind, they scroll the page & then realise they have more sites included in membership, I would have thought this was the perfect place to have the bonus sites :2 cents: |
TBH, the forum is very dull unless you are a might night goth with no since in taste what so ever. You want COLORS, TITS, ASS, BITCHES. Not a shoe and shitty logo, I'm just sayin :) If you want some i can send you some Affiliate work if you hire me to redesign your whole site. E-mail contact is below and i do look forward to hearing from you :)
|
There are some good ideas..
..but before you change anything take a look at your current transaction funnel. Compare that with previous stats. Do you have a drop in your traffic as well? (site / this page) Take a look at the transaction approval / denial ratio as well ! |
So what happened with old affiliate program with ccbill? what about our links ?
|
Thanks again for more input.
I see a lot of mention about the design and the way that the join options are currently aligned to the right. I'll just say quickly that the join page has been like this since Czarina designed this for me a few months ago and have had great sales using this kind of layout until now. For reference you can view the old form at http://www.kinkykicks.net/join-old.php Sales did start diminishing the couple of days before we went live with NATS, but since that point when we started using the new form new sales have dropped off completely. CCBill have also contacted me also today and said that my join link isn't working correctly. I don't see any issue and have asked them to elaborate. I'm guessing this may be an auto response due to no new members coming in, but I'll wait on there reply. I am going to look into tweaking this join page some more, but my design skills are very poor and so I may need to get someone else to do this for me. Thanks for the previous offer mentioned on here. However, I have already spoke to a designer to redesign the site a week or two ago actually, but the catch 22 is that limited signups means no money to invest! I may just try auto cascading directly to the CCBill page later and cutting out the pre-join page completely. |
well I am confused, what is happening and happened with all those FHG and CCbill links we are using. For example, look at this blog post : http://ballbusting-femdom.info/ballbusting-christmas/
|
Heads up, on your tour the 'next page' button is dead. It's linking to http://kinkykicks.net/tour/index-2.html but it's not showing up.
|
I had been using NATS join forms, designed my own, had a designer make a couple, and tested many different pricing and much more more..
I ended up testing like 30 different designs, some with video backgrounds, some uber clean.. and the end i am just sending them ccbill automatically. I have tested different ccbill forms also.. which can make a huge difference. I would much rather collect emails on a pre-join form.. but the ratios is a bigger enough difference that I can't...a couple of sales a day is an expensive price to pay for emails.. and also about 80% of the emails are bad. you really might want to think about just turning on that feature in nats to forward automatically to ccbill.. then work on you join pages.. and when you think you have a winner.. try it out for a day or two.. and see what happens.. Femdomdestiny, I am assured by the NATS / TMM guys that affiliates will get credited for any traffic sent using old CCBill linking codes. I thought I had mentioned this to all affiliates in a mail blast.
Nate, thanks for the heads up. With the transition to Nats I had to make all the tour pages .php and didn't realise there was a broken link pointing to a missing .html page. |
I've set the join page to cascade straight to CCBill for now while I evaluate the pre-join form, etc..Have also corrected the broken link in the tour nav which can't have done me any favours.
To femdomdestiny and any other Cash 4 Kicks affiliates who may not have got recent mail from me, the new NATS program is a CCBill program and I'll re-iterate that all old affiliate links will still work. All affiliates should have received notification that they have been imported into NATS along with details of how to reset your password. Any probs drop me an email. Hoping that sales will pick up again soon!!! |
Interim page collecting username and email is no good. White page with that is an x out for surfer. What is your unique to getting an email/password/username?
Should be around 1:30 |
Real nice to see some solid info and people helping others here
|
I've gone back to using the pre-join page again. http://join.kinkykicks.net/signup/si...MC4wLjA&step=2
I've tweaked it some more. Still not perfect, but I think its better and signups are trickling in again. I think past members are getting confused by the need to enter a username and password on the pre-join page! |

Finally found out whats been happening. I didn't know that I had to setup a default NATS code in my ElevatedX tour config and so the pre-join pages were getting screwed up by incorrect NATS codes.
