Do you check your kids halloween candy?

HAhaha. I used to tell my girls I have to taste every single piece of candy to make sure it was safe. Thier Mom had filled thier heads with this "razor blade in the apple bullshit'.

Now I'm doing the same with my grand daughters. I love halloween. LOL

Oracle Porn 10-31-2011 06:50 PM

fuck razor blades, i dip every candy in liquid lsd and give it out to kids, taste that for safeness.

L-Pink 10-31-2011 06:56 PM

.

Spunky 10-31-2011 07:18 PM

I would exchange their bags with stuff I personally bought them.Too many freaks out there

LiveDose 10-31-2011 07:23 PM

Hell yeah, have to pick out the stuff I want. Damn they both came home with like 5 lbs of candy each...

Realistically, checking every piece of candy for every poisoning option is impossible. We'd need microscopes and lab testing. I do however go through the candy to toss out any homemade treats, opened wrappers, or stuff that looks like it's been sitting around since last Halloween.

RyuLion 10-31-2011 07:39 PM

Send me some candy!!!!!!!

I think this is the most practical advice.

I read once there is no documented proof of anyone ever putting razor blades in candy. It gave my parents an excuse for first dibs on the good candy in my bag. Lol

We usually look it over...

vdbucks 10-31-2011 08:21 PM

Anything that's not in a sealed wrapped gets tossed..

BINGO we have a winner. I remember hearing that there was a case of a razor blade in a apple but it was the own kids parents. I dont think there is a documented case anywhere of anyone poisoning candy or anything like that. Urban legend more than anything.

SleazyDream 11-01-2011 03:08 AM

mental note - palm razor blades to steal candy when kids are around.....

keep reading it has happened twice in toronto, and they caught the person each time.

apples...they handed out apples though..and i think a re-wrapped tootsie roll bar

Jack Sparrow 11-01-2011 05:06 AM

Kids dont eat apples. They want the candy.

Do you get the same rumour about razor blades wedged in swimming pool water-slides too?

seeandsee 11-01-2011 09:30 AM

i bet there are some sickos out there,,, so dont give them to take candy

SykkBoy 11-01-2011 09:50 AM

I'm more worried about stupidity than evil...

when I was little, we had this neighbor lady who made special treats for kids in the neighborhood and we all got sick on her candy apples one year...she had made them on a cutting board that she had cut up a raw chicken on earlier...she wasn't evil, just stupid...

I'd second that. I've never had anyone I know say they actually know someone this happened to.

pornguy 11-01-2011 10:04 AM

We go through it as well.

For me I dont even need to taste it as my son does not like candy but he sure as hell loves going to get it.

Lol !!! And he will go first to test the slide :)

96ukssob 11-01-2011 12:27 PM

old wives tale :1orglaugh

when i was younger my friends mom wouldn't let him eat the candy, but instead would allow him to go to the store and spend $10 in whatever candy he wanted. at that time, was probably more than what he collected
