Best freelancer sites?
which have you had the best luck with?
i just wasted my money on Freelancer.com - the quality of the bidders on a small Flash project was atrocious. Not sure what their rules are, I can't award the job to any of these losers. the Indian companies should be outright banned from freelancer site - annoying presumptuous fucks. |

I have used guru.com with some success before.

Try www.odesk.com or www.elance.com

was gonna suggest getafreelancer.com who i used to use 5 years ago, turns out they are freelancer.com - this is my most useless post ever... i need to keep up with the times haha

i've used freelancer.com before with mixed results - this time i can't believe i didn't get one bid from somebody decent.

Plenty of bids, but nobody gave me any degree of confidence, and so nobdy got the job (also flash btw). I used to use scriptlance but that seemed to go to shit also a while back with people bidding, being awarded projects and then saying sorry too busy !!! |
Freelancer can be good if you know what to look for in a company. You have to be careful with some of them.. Seen a few companies improve their ratings by dodgy means.... I wouldn't touch the Indian or Pakistani companies to be honest... Stick with US, UK and Canadian developers... and those that actually pay attention to you project instead of the stupid generic response most of them provide.
