Having never been to Thailand I have to ask. Are there as many trannys as people make it appear or is that just kind of an ongoing urban myth/joke?

i came out one night from a club and there was some arguing going on between some girls that were with us and some trannies. and thats something that simply doesnt happen to you anywhere else.
