Conservatives are more relevant to our national debate now than at any time since I was born (more than 40 years). It is a mistake to interpret a momentary lull as an indication that the movement is dead. The next thing you know... you turn your back to a sucker punch. Just the Evangelical movement (which is a huge segment of the Conservative movement) alone is a HUGE amount of people and money... and they are very much alive.

We listened to all of the campaign promises and we gave the underdog a chance. We elected our first black President. Even his critics wanted him to succeed, but most knew that his socialist policies wouldn't work. Pretty amazing for a "racist" country, huh?

And then came Nancy Pelosi, ACORN, Van Jones, and Solyndra. Socialist healthcare was rammed down our throats. "You have to vote for the 2,000 page bill to find out what is in it." The President screwed the GM bondholders for his union buddies. Trillions of dollars was wasted. For the first time in our history, our national credit was downgraded.

And now, America is broke. People lost their homes, their retirement accounts, their jobs, everything. The American people are pissed off about it --big time. It turned out to be one big con job. Instead of getting a leader who was a practical "doer" --we got a detached talker.

And then came the phony "spontaneous" OWS movement, which was highly orchestrated by the left and the administration, and ballyhooed by the media. It was a pack of lies from start to finish.

The bottom line is the bad economy is going to prevent a second term for Obama. So, sorry to break it to you, but your man's chance of re-election is.. not likely.
