Have you tried to ask CCBill?

pornmasta 11-10-2011 09:36 AM

ccbill is not online now.
I asked them about the refunds.

I had these refunds, then nearly no sales during a week... with 2000 hits per days...
Right now, with these cancelations, i make $50 with 19000 hits...

I asked to my sponsor and they asked me to mail them because for the moment, they don't understand what i mean...

pornmasta 11-10-2011 09:40 AM

Also if a transaction is too old to be canceled i wonder who has to pay...
the affiliate ?

If a customer requests and receives a refund, and at the same time charges back via the bank it is possible for his transaction to be credited twice.

This is why you should never refund someone who is already in contact with their bank disputing the transaction. Sometimes, depending on the financial institutions involved you can retrieve the chargeback funds after proving you already issued a refund, assuming not much time has passed.

Sometimes chargeback transactions take time to show up in the system, so it is possible to refund a customer who has already charged back and you just don't know it yet.

pornmasta 11-10-2011 11:11 AM

i'm waiting for ccbill's answer...
but i'm not responsible for these refunds and chargebacks, so i don't know why i should pay twice...

Hi Pornmasta,

What ICQ number are you showing in your contact list? I'm currently showing it's been active and available since I arrived this morning at 6am phx time, and I want to make sure you have our correct contact info. In case there are any issues with ICQ I'm also in the office at this time if you would like to call 1.800.510.2859.

pornmasta 11-10-2011 11:59 AM

so i read on icq that i have to pay... for something that i don't handle... grrr

pornmasta 12-15-2011 06:26 AM

So today, a new chargeback for the same transaction (same transaction id).

Easy way to make money...

This is correct which is why you should never really refund a transaction that is over 8 hours old as this is normally the only safe time. If ccbill refunded outside of this window then they should explain themselves. They know as well as anybody what can happen, but don't hold your breath for an explanation other than the polite form of "shit happens".

When this happened to me, I told them to explain to the customer's bank/card issuer that a refund had already been issued and to ask for one of the amounts back to clear the accounting, but they said they couldn't do that.

CCBill can blacklist the guys email so he can't sign up for any CCBill sites.

People are fierce with their money. They think since they pay for internet, why should they pay for a website. Or their drunk when they signed up and convince themselves the page they entered CC info was misleading and they did not think they would get charged.

So they wake up, run to their computer, check their bank statement and see the charge. Most likely they spend all day calling the bank, going to the bank, and demanding a charge back for fraudulent transaction.

In addition, they call CCBill and demand a refund while yelling at the rep.

That's just how people are.

So in your case guy didn't realize it was recurring charge so calls the bank, yells at CCBill rep, etc.

Happens all the time unfortunately.
