Surf's up! (pics)

I had to shoot an event at the beach this morning. It was a run from Hermosa Beach pier to the Manhattan Beach pier. After the runners took off, I went down to shoot the surf and some of the surfers that showed up.

My best friend and I (he lives in Newport Coast) have an ongoing east coast / west coast beach war and you certainly don't have to dress like that on the beach here, even in January. I am going to declare a win.

are there secluded parts of Socal beaches where you could shoot nudes that aren't private property?

i was looking at Malibu real estate the other day, I was very surprised that the prices seemed fairly reasonable some even suprisingly low. I saw a lot for sale right on the beach, 975,000 - seemed low for a piece of beachfront property on one of the world's most famous beach communities.

You are entitled to your opinion.

Miami and Fort Lauderdale are both in the top 5 vacation destinations this year.

You do have the humidity right but you get used to that.

You of all people should know South Florida is nothing like the rest of Florida.

5-6' waves today, btw. No named storms. Was playing in big waves on Thursday... but since I am not a surfer I don't care.

you should try to keep the horizon straight in the pics. Some of them are very nice, but it's a big turnoff for me when the horizon is not straight, that makes it look like you didn't even bother to try to hold the camera straight

Yes, and there are some nude beached . . . but they are pretty difficult to reach.
