$114.14 dollar sale!

a few days ago I was looking at other websites join prices and decided to add a 6 month join option for $99.95 didn't really think people would spend that much on a subscription, but already got one :thumbsup

well, if it is good discount then they will..

Products do well because of the multiples factor.
The trade off between residual exponential rebilling.

Do you want a textual traffic seminar

SmutHammer 12-13-2011 01:40 AM

Thanks :) I was pretty surprised when I seen it.

Looks good but... If the basic price is $30 per month and 6month price $100 many people will think about this what looks like $80 discount and join. But website is not magazine and they do not get same content each month. Most of sites have 30+ scenes inside but updating just 1-4 new ones per month. Therefore next month has just at least 7th times lower value for most jerkers. Only low percentage of subscriptions remain over 3 months (else my sponsors are shaving me much :-) ) So your $100 guy may feel bored or betrayed and chargeback. More, your long time rebilling subscribers 6+ months may see they paid you $180 and could pay just $100. So they can chargeback too, all their rebills. Not speaking about if you run affiliate program you can attract real carding fraudsters with high price memberships. It is impossible to keep your chargeback level below 1% with such pricing strategy i am pretty sure. It happened to me with my best sponsor program in the past. I was 6 years with them then suddenly they decided to offer high priced long time memberships, i was very lucky at first because income boosted like hell, then 2 people chargebacked their high price subscriptions, probably 1 all his rebills, i was kicked off as potential carder, program owner totally nervous because chargeback ratio jumped high to risc of merchant account loosing probably with all webmasters. Something what looked like great money opportunity for me turned to nightmare, i lost $400 in rebills and seized money and got about month of hard work to pull the links of my former best sponsor out. I do not want to take off your optimism and you surely know what you do but this is just my personal experience...

The biggest issue with a large sale price like that is affiliate fraud. A few years ago those large membership options on revshare were just as attractive to fraudsters as PPS. If you don't have it available to affiliates and have a quality site then have at it :)

Some people love to pay in advance and then CB later :D

MrPotatoBread 12-13-2011 08:58 AM

With which site was it? :) Do you have icq?

NetHorse 12-13-2011 09:15 AM

I actually get quite a few. Mine is set at $99.99 for 1 year though. I think people are lured by the fact it's non-recurring.

marlboroack 12-13-2011 09:18 AM

Are you pretending to be lil candy?

Enjoy your $114.14 chargeback days, weeks, or months from now.

SmutHammer 12-13-2011 10:06 AM

can they charge back after a month of use? we should be protected against chargebacks. I had 1 chargback in the last year and ccbill said it was up to me. I'm not into the idea of giving someone their money back after they have already downloaded my stuff... seems like theft to me. but I did give that guy his money back.

StinkyPink 12-13-2011 10:17 AM

with lilcandy we have the advantage of havung a solo girl that actually keeps several avenues of communication with her fans. Not to mention the weekly camshows. Also members are able to request custom content, which ed and candy try to fulfill those requests every time.

nikki99 12-13-2011 10:25 AM

I think yes. Unfortunately from what i know the situation in Czech republic is such that bank returns anything to anybody any time he asks if he lies that he could not download videos and your support did not help him or just any other stupid lie. They do not make any prosecution, do not check if he could not really download, if you helped him or not, they do not ask you for your opinion on this. They just put money back with some chargeback fees between $10-$25 depending on bank. If merchant feels customer took service and did not pay, you can sue him of course and you 99% win here, he pays you the price again, $60 wire transfer fees to banks, $300 to your attorney and $150 trial fee. If he runs out of money there is also additional $400+ for executing his properties. But you must have somebody here to fill all the forms right probably. I do not know how robust complaint leads to chargeback in us and other eu countries but i suppose it goes usually very easy. Some guy from bank told publicly at September Prague Europpean Summit banking transaction seminar that the best chargeback country is Iceland, 90% of all their transactions from Iceland gets charged back. It has no sense for bank to discuss with fraudster or with you and get involved in possible criminal case, why to do it when they get lovely easy chargeback fees from both of you and perhaps more money in future if it goes to trial?

It depends on their bank and the relationship to the credit card processor. Some can come 6 months later whether they had access or not.
