Are ringtone affiliate programs dead?
 

They were big years ago before government regulations stopped providers from selling 49 cent ringtones that rebilled monthly at a much higher fee. Now you don't hear anything about ringtone programs anymore.

I was thinking about running some promos on a general entertainment site. I know the same money isn't going to be there, but how are conversions?

stick some generic 90% off ipad banners up and rotate through a bunch of different penny auction offers till you find one that converts

there is a shit ton of offers out there for practically every country paying per sign up or per sale

there are a couple of big traffic entertainment sites running almost 100% of their ads to these offers
