My new years resolution.
 

Those who know me, know that I've become a bit of a recluse, I'm not the easiest to chat to in real time and like to just design in the background and create my magic behind the scenes...

This last year, while business was up from the year before, I can still notice a downward trend in bookings, and design gigs, even though my work is 100x better than it's ever been, and probably 1000x better than it was at my most lucrative moments as a designer...

New years, I sat and reflected and wondered why this is... is it the tubes? Not likely cause I design some pretty awesome tube sites.

Is it the economy? partly but over all money is still flowing, and clearly still available to be made.

So what is it?

It's me.
I don't network anymore, I don't talk to people, and I don't put myself out there.

So here it is, I'm putting myself out there.
I'm around, I'm here if you wanna shoot the shit, talk design, talk about the weather, whatever.

You can find me mostly at night, but I'm going to make a huge effort to really get to know you all again.

my NY resolution is to lose some weight, 10 pounds by 1st March and then more till end of May

Good luck on your objectives, Kelly! I think it takes a really mature person to be able to identify those types of patterns and deal with them.

For me, I just need to get more fit. I have super high self-esteem in life, and I'm generally pretty happy even though I'm not skinny, but I know I need to be in better shape for health reasons...

slowing down on the weed might help.

Good luck to you with your goals, as I get older my health is nagging at me more and more, and I've made a ton of changes to my diet and well being that were really plaguing me before..
