Americans, what do you think of Georgia ( country ) and Saakashvili?
Just curious, how do you treat / see that country and their President?
|
99% have no clue what you are talking about

80% aren't sure if Georgia is a city or if it's one of the fifty-seven states.
Of course Georgia the US state is a lot closer to home for US citizens, and it's twice the size of tbe European nation of the same name. Given that Georgia has about the same population as the nearest big city for most Americans, they probably care more about the city they live on than about a far away country that's the same size. |

They explained that they were from the Country of Georgia and I was like whutttt????? Anyway, they're good girls and have been assisting me for many years now. They're like family :thumbsup |

BTW, I remember there was almost a hysterics on some the US Internet boards in 2008 during so-called "5-day war". The average thread there was looking like that: - WTF? Russian tanks in Georgia? - Can't believe Russians invaded America!!! - Don't panic there! Our army should do something! - Georgians, please cling together, I believe Russians will leave soon! ... - What??? It's not in the USA? - Please don't tell me there is another Georgia. - Caucasus??? Where is it??? - God, I really thought Russian invaded us! LOL ... And something like that. It was actually funny to read those threads especially knowing how good the Americans are familiar with the World's geography :pimp |

I think they kick ass in a country of Georgia comparing to any other non EU Ex USSR country.
|
As about Saakashvili. I don't know how good he is as a president, but he's really a brave man. Proof below:
Yeah, he's da man :thumbsup And a bit of statistics. There is about 4.5 Millions citizens in Georgia, and about 500 thousands of Georgians who live in Russia (most of them are in Moscow :)). Seems Georgia is a really good place to live :winkwink: :2 cents: |
Average people run out to make a coin in Moscow and Kiev - that's not a secret, it happens everywhere, and I assure you they would run much more far away if there were countries to go visa free.
|
Any other President would be taken care of in the same manner, covered by his bodyguards.
|
And I want to see you taking decisions on that level, you'd probably go flexible way sucking your cock, right?

Georgia was like a heaven on Earth in the USSR times, because it was living on huge donations from other Soviet republics. But times have changed... Quote:

There aren't a lot of people on this planet that have a large understanding of every single country.. so how is it ignorant not to know about one that has 4 million people? |

1) It's a country in the North Africa (can't say more exactly) 2) It's a former French colony (have no idea when it was colonized and freed). Not too much, ok. But at least something. |

All I care about Georgia is that they invented the wine, and that's enough reason for greatness! (the word wine "vine" has its origins in that country). Other than that, I don't know much about them.

Bullshit. I live in Europe and there is not one person I have ever met who would know what or where Idaho is. |
99.99999% of Americans don't know and don't care about "that" Georgia. And why would they?
Do they have Atlanta Falcons or peach farms? No? So fuck'em. |

Here is a quote which describes an attitude of current Georgian president Mr. Saakashvili (the gay who ate his own tie on the video above) towards Stalin: "This is not how the Georgians see things. In an interview with a Dutch magazine, Sandra Roelofs, the Dutch wife of the new Georgian president and hence the new first lady of Georgia, explained that her husband aspires to follow in the long tradition of strong Georgian leaders "like Stalin and Beria". Saakashvili started his march on Tbilisi last November with a rally in front of the statue of Stalin in his birthplace, Gori." Interesting banking systems there. Some really good potential if one didn't have to spend all of ones time figuring out who's ass you have to kiss!
It's strange somehow that my main interest in countries has become primarily about their card processing potential!! :) . . |
