Couple more jail terms being handed out in torrent cases i see
one for ten years...one for 22 months.
ouch...ten years :( but stealing is stealing...it will be good, if we can get everyone to clean up. |

Hanna has a serious god complex and she netted about $200k in profit alone from her site. Not money she had to put back into it...PROFIT of $200k. They were the ones uploading the videos, and then profiting in over half a mill combined with all the ppl involved.
And if you read the TorrentFreak commenters according to them she has done nothing wrong. This is the voice of the pro-piracy crowd. They want to remove ALL copyrights (stripping authors of a right the Constitution gave them and the UN declared a human right), they see no problem with parasites who contribute nothing but consume everything making money for themselves off your hard work. It's really a disgusting form of dirty capitalism that uses populist socialism rhetoric to deprive people of their rights so that a parasitic class can become rich. They manipulate the masses with some sort of free-speech issue, but ask yourself this. Do you believe producing music, movies, art, science, etc., is an expression of your free speech rights? Of course you do. Well the freedom of speech protects your right to give, OR TO NOT GIVE, your speech and no one else can give it for you. So if you think producing something is free speech, and you believe that 'sharing' someone else's works is an expression of YOUR speech, then you are violating someone else's freedom of speech by expressing their speech without their consent. It's like attributing a testimonial by them without their consent to something they don't want to endorse. But by all means, keep listening to the freeloaders who so easily manipulate the masses. |
Interesting for you to bring up the Constitution then try to claim free speech is the reason we even have copyright. As I've said before, it was put there to advance the sharing of information with a side effect of you being able to profit on your content and not the other way around.

Not only was it meant to be for a limited time (10 to 20 years at the time) but those that added that little tidbit most likely wouldn't have given two shits about porn being pirated. True pirates are assholes and idiots but twisting the purpose of copyrights then claiming that they are doing the same is absolutely fucking hilarious. |
