I have some animated elements in my next project and am looking for a talented animator to collaborate with.
Any recommendations? |

Sure-thing, have you got a portfolio you can link me too? |
Good luck with your search...Off the top of my head I cant think of anyone that's 'known' for this kind of work. Not round here nayway..

I'm an animator. Archer seems simple enough, lots of talking heads in three quarter poses, characters that look like action figures. You'd provide the voice acting and music I imagine?
This is one of my animations http://www.hentaikid.com/images/orcandelftitty0-60.gif You do understand that just a few minutes of animation is a major undertaking, right? You can contact me at hentaikid at hentaikid.com |
cool getting me interested on this project......

I do understand its a major undertaking, although not sure exactly how big. Say 6 minutes, approx how much time and money? Again use Archer as you reference. |
Marvelous effort so far

Yeah kinda cool, mr green |
classical animation is truly a lot of work, but maybe we have some much cheaper solution.
@hentaikid looks really good!!! |

6 minutes should be plenty long per ep.

It entirely depends, is there a project with a script or ready made designs? Famous indy animator Bill Plympton goes for a 1000$ per minute cost. 6000$ per minute would've been average commercial rates years ago.
If it's just going to be a bunch of static poses of characters flapping their lips obviously it's a lot cheaper than if the characters are having a fight on the top of a burning building while a helicopter shoots missiles at them. An ongoing series starts to build a library of characters, poses, backgrounds and animation which can be reused in later scenes. Time is also a factor, needs to be done by next week vs. next month, etc... |
6 minutes of animation is a lot. it won't be cheap even if you find an Indian company on a freelancer site. Put the job up on Freelancer.com to get an idea on the $$$ bid amount and ask the bidders to send you links to samples they've done in the style you want.
i think Serge from SilverCrocodile has talented animators who can do it - his GFY nickname is 'holograph'. |
Loki is on gfy and does animation.
