hmm not sure that is "dimwit" logic.. it actually seems pretty straightforward to me.
They are profiting off software who's main use is to steal copyright material. Then they are suing people who use it.

i love using analogies .. but this is a poor analogy. The majority of people buying knives at "target" are not using them to commit criminal acts, nor is "target" advertising it's knives as a great way to commit an illegal act.
In the video he explains that not only is CBS distributing software who's main use is to distribute copyright material , but they are actually demonstrating via screenshots , its use to download copyright files.
to make your analogy proper you should have "target" advertising it's knives with a picture of gang members murdering someone with one.. then ask if people think target is also responsible.
