Filesonic getting nervous?
Quote from a pirate forum I just saw with someone else confirming they got the same message.
"All sharing functionality on FileSonic is now disabled. Our service can only be used to upload and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally. If this file belongs to you, please login to download it directly from your file manager." |
Wow click any filesonic link online. I get that message
"All sharing functionality on FileSonic is now disabled. Our service can only be used to upload and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally." |
Now if only oron would get cold feet.

Here is another interesting quote from the same source..
"here is what i know i work for the feds . but dont hold that against me they are going to try and start shutting down all file sharing sites i here through the jungle drums that file sonic is next !! and then orion . any one of these that has main stream movies or music is a target at this point mega is a test case if it flys through the courts the rest will fall !!" |
Wow. I had thought it would never happen.
This is actually a bigger deal for adult than Megaupload. Filesonic was huge. Pornrip.org and countless sites down for now, unless until they can figure something else out. |
so where do i download my porn now? oh, there is still russian oron, there it will be shutdown only if another cold war will be coming
|
This is great. I see hornyblog.org got nervous as well and changed all posts to only point to Videoz affiliate program. Before they had 4-5 mirror links for every video posts.
|
For fucks sake... Cannot believe it... But yes, it looks like filesonic links are all dead now.
|
someone is busy deleting mails and shredding every piece of paper while booking flights
|
The best part is they're probably already in the DOJs sights if they have a single server in the US.
They better enjoy their illgotten gains while they can and never travel to a country where the US can pick them up. |

Believe it or not but my sales are going fantastic for the last few days... Filesonic was my biggest headache lately. I smile...

Their servers are in Haarlem, Netherlands, and we all know how the FBI dealt with the MegaUpload servers in that same LeaseWeb datacenter. Please post the address of that Russian Oron owner. Thanks. |

So if these sites stay down then I expect we will see SOPA in the news again because law makers will see that foreign sites are the only ones still getting away with it. SOPA only cuts off DNS of foreign sites (even though idiots who can't read kept saying it would cut off facebook and youtube). |
Back to the drawing board for those assholes. :boid
|
They are related to Wupload which is still up for now.
Filesonic is a good sized one. Very popular on the pirate boards. There may be some light at the end of the tunnel yet. |

big jump in members coming for whichever service has the biggest balls.

Shit, I just went premium like 2 days ago. :1orglaugh Ticket fucking submitted.
Still, the $10 was cheaper than buying an OS X Leopard disc and faster than torrents... got a good few movies out of it too. Gotta get me an RS membership and grab Snow Leopard and Lion before it's too late. Hopefully FSC will be back in a few months after relocating all their shit to Burma. :1orglaugh |
honestly never thought i'd see this - please US GOV keep the heat on, piracy will never be eradicated on the margins of the web but these huge pirate operations can be put on the run. hoping the feds have paid a visit to Paypal's headquarters and strongly suggested they need to keep their greedy hands out of the piracy industry. without Paypal and VISA/MC it would be a severely crippled industry.
would be nice to see a tube site get the same treatment. |
As expected :thumbsup
|
Well....thank god we have The Pirate Bay! :upsidedow I'm glad it's affecting other filesharing websites though, because those places are the ones with huge amounts of porn on them.
|
everything has two sides. filesharing and OCH's was a very good idea. until some idiot craps start to make money with copyright violations. at the end, thats now, no one has anything. I think OCH's is gone, times changes.
SOPA is good, shure for copyright holders like us. but it can make problems too. maybe is time to thinkin' different. |
This is great... look at all the uploaders crying over at wjunction !!
|
long live torrents :)
|
Like I said, most will fold up once they become aware of the jail time they are looking at :2 cents:
|
damn thats 2 of my paid accounts gone.
premium filesonic, and premium megaupload. oron is the only paid service that still works |

They will all be familiar with the word bankruptcy:1orglaugh |
Things are looking up :)
|
go go go go :thumbsup
|
waiting for some porn host to close... +oron
Then we must be aware that it doesn't go too far... We are probably the next on the list that they want to close. |

Why isn't PayPal being investigated? It's not like they don't know what these clients are up to. |
service was crap anyway

Seems its all a fluid situation but there are rumors that Oron is about to terminate their program as well. We shall see. |
Why do people in this thread, who are supposedly in the adult internet business...have fucking memberships to goddamn pirate sites?
Fucking unreal. :( |

Just look at hotfile, they never responded to dmca until it became shitcan crazy. They got slammed pretty hard with some lawsuits for site rips. You can see the trend. http://ebonyfeed.com/images/CcnaQ.jpg By that time they had so much money that they started deleting everything and then no one complained anymore. They were so popular that many people were too stupid to know any better and kept using them. It was simply business. I'm looking forward to seeing how this all works out though. |
yes indeedy :helpme :helpme :helpme
:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup |
