Why do some sites consider the shemale/transexual niche to be straight and not gay? After all they stil have their dicks and fuck other guys.

On an economic stance, try promoting a transsexual site from your gay properties and then from your straight properties and see which makes the sales.

Some think that it is a transitional period of men that are moving towards being gay. they still like women but want to experience cock as well.

Re your question, a while back I asked a similar question to some gay webmasters and they said that the whole shemale niche was a world away from their own hardcore gay sites and they would never show tranny content on their gay sites and were quite offended when people used to say to them that they thought the two niches were pretty much the same thing. :)

A shoe sales person doesn't have to be a cross dresser to sell women's shoes and victorias secret doesnt care who buys the lingerie or what they do with it. They're in the business for sales and profits. Its a revenue stream, so you just need to know the market a little bit and sell to it.

As stated in another thread it's marketed as "straight" because most men who like trannies are homophobic and ashamed to admit they have gay feelings. So you have to patronize them and pretend it's not gay, or they wouldn't buy it.
