.eu domains - any good?

I have never bought a .eu domain before and was just wondering if anyone has had any success with them?

not bad .............

can be tricky...

- can't edit whois records
- no whois protection
- must live or have company based in EU (or at least it should)
- must renew on time - one day late and it's gone
