Would you pay to have travel memories implanted in your brain, if it were cheaper than actually travelling yourself?

I did a lovely cruise years ago, and I have some really nice memories from it. I also have some 'not so great' memories as well...

So, if I could pay to just have the good memories, as opposed to having to travel, and get the bad as well, I would have gone for it... You ???

So why do you travel then? If I offered you a luxury holiday, but you wouldn't be able to remember it, then why would you go?

Yes,because i buy some things so i can have something to remember.No matter what you experience and how good it is it's useless unless you have good memory of it.

Part of the benefits of a holiday is relaxing and having a rest from what you normally do though. If you just went for an hours memory implant every few months on your lunchbreak you'll work yourself to death.

I'd be too scared of it going wrong. Same as I am with laser eye surgery.

Easy. While you're sleeping tonight I'll implant a 12 month vacation from work and when you wake up, you'll know no different.

Then again... if a person were implanted with the fake memory of having effortlessly beaten down thousands of lions with his bare hands, day in day out over a several year period... then dropped into a cage with a hungry lion, would he or would he not be scared shitless for the rest of his very short life?

For the record, I still have a super 8 movie she consented to us doing. With the old style super bright spotlight. lol But I would trade it for the secret audio tape. :)
