Not gonna lie... the halftime show was pretty boring
 

I mean, I know Madonna is an icon in the music industry and whatnot but man... this year's show was so boring.

at least perform live or find someone that can, if you want to play a tape of madonna singing then why do you need that old hag on stage doing the dancing?

you're nuts - that show was visually amazing considering it's at halftime of a football game.

Rather not live than suffer like last year again when the Black Eyed Pea's sounded fucking AWFUL !!

That was due to sound problems a LOT more than it was due to their performance. The overall performance was good, but it sucked because of all the sound problems..

Eh, I'm used to seeing more 'alive' performances. Don't get me wrong.. Madonna is old as hell so it's a great effort for to even get up there.. but it was so slow paced that it just kind of dragged out.

I love how 50s is considered old as hell to some. She's still in better shape than 99% of this board.

it wasn't really Madonna i was impressed with - it was the stages and lighting etc - how u can transform a football field into that spectacle in less time than it takes me to make a webpage!

I found the show including Madonna awesome

The only impressive part was that she can still move like that at her age, and the guy on the wire.

Yeah, that guy on the wire was the best part for me.. that was pretty cool... though I must admit I kept waiting for him to slip and destroy his manhood on it lol.

Sadly, I agree. The half time show did not blow me away like Madonna promised that it would.

It would be great if it was 25 years ago. Then it would have been happening.

The people that pick those acts choose the most harmless, culturally irrelevant bullshit they can scrape up. What's next year? That new act everyone's buzzing about...Hootie and the Blowfish.

As for the show, I liked it. She might be getting old or whatever, but I'd still hit it. I was close to a LOL when she almost fell off the bench seats though.

The halftime show was way better than commercials. They all sucked pretty much.

Everything is so safe since Nipplegate. The commercials are almost completely absent of anything sexy, but it's ok to watch dudes get hit in the face or mauled by an angry cheetah. As long as no 10 year old buys get a chubby.

The halftime show is no different. Look at the sausage fest that has been there post-Janet Jackson nip slip:

Black Eyed Peas(fergie is the first woman to perform in 7 years)

Prince is the only act that could halfway qualify as female. What's their logic? A schlong accidentally falling out is less likely than a tittie popping out?
