Decision time... Sell or not sell ?

I have an offer on one of my mainstream game sites

Now deciding whether I should sell it or not because I know with more money and time spent on it, it would generate money again. The trouble is not having the time to work on the site ... unless something changes

In two minds now whether to sell it to the guy or not lol

You never get hurt taking a profit. If the offer is reasonable, do it. Don't let your ego mess with you and good luck :)

Make a tough decision for you

it depends on the offer...
what revenue multiple are they offering?

Unless it's an absurd offer, sell! I love building and selling mainstream sites, LOVE IT! They are easy to build, easy to gather traffic, easy to make profit, and then easy to do it all over again when you decide to sell. I find gaining profits in adult much more difficult than mainstream. Although, I haven't been here long and don't understand it as well.

Your prob right but the offer is lower than what i wanted tbh. One way i was thinking of not selling it, is to have admins online doing the updates, adding more weapons and items ect. I have had so many offers of people wanting to be admins from the game players but I just dont trust any of them. The domain name is also 4 years old and its ranked on the first page of google for some search words for the game.

Sell and build one up again when you get time again. A lot of people are emotional in business and it holds you back. Take the money and run.

If you aren't doing this already, you probably won't ever do it. Sell, take the money, if you later want to start another gaming site you'll have a little extra cash to do so and the experience from running this site to help you launch the next site and do it right, faster.

Very few times in my life have I regretted selling something when I had the chance ... I HAVE, several times regretted not selling something.

What you want for it is probably a little out of touch with reality tbh.

Your nostalgia and "what if" mentality is probably not included in the offer. If the offer is good enough to make you think about it, you should go for it. Without knowing the ins and outs the decision is yours to make, son.

Take the money from the sale and put it into something with a better return. Grow. Don't go buy a fucking 5 series or something.

Counter offer higher and then it is an easy decision if he accepts or not.
