The Real Money Is In eBook Piracy

The two sites, Library.nu and Ifile.it, are based in Ireland, and allegedly made more than 400,000 copyrighted ebooks available as free downloads. According to publishing groups who helped build the case, the operators of the sites earned more than $10m annually from advertising and donations.

Neither site is currently active. Library.nu currently redirects to Google Books. Ifile.it has an error message that says ?No upload servers currently available, try uploading at a later time.?
