Best player for videos?
 

If I want to embed a few videos on a website, what's the best player to use?

I don't want to upload them to a service.

Flowplayer?

Looking for one that doesn't have branding really and works with iPhone/Droids too.

No player works with the iPhone because iPhone doesn't have flash.

ive seen one that falls back to a <video> tag if no flash, that with the right file format (m4v?) will play on iOS

False, HTML5 players play on iphone just fine streaming mp4. Have a fallback for a flash player that also streams the same mp4 works just fine.

At the minimum, encode mp4 and webm for the HTML5, and then use the MP4 for the fallback flash player.

If you are hardcore, then add the ogv format to the HTML5 player as well.

JWPlayer and VideoJS both do this.

and you have slow motion video player in your sig.
