Do people still watch Saturday Night Live?

I thought I heard that she finally got a movie role or something. Didn't think it was to the promotional point yet though.

She's a walking public fiasco and a publicity grenade just waiting to go off on live TV.

It's a first base PR target for "troubled" public figures to "relaunch" their careers, like Rob Lowe and a few other burn-out/melt-down types.

It's part of the celebrity cycle...
she's bottomed out, so now she goes on SNL and pokes fun at herself and it shows "look at me, I can laugh at myself". Then she does the serious Oscar-type movie role in a small indy flick, gets critical acclaim and is suddenly back on the A-list again.

I don't think it's been funny since like the early 00's when they had Tracy Morgan and Will Ferell. Now they recruit kids off Nickelodeon.

I saw a few of their skits on some talk shows and it reminded me of when your school would have a talent show and the teachers would perform some "comedy" act and it made everyone groan and cringe.

SNL is doing it for ratings, she's doing it because she has nothing else better to do - win/win.

Probably SNL needs a ratings boost and she needs the money
