Now that you have grown your site, How do you get your programming done
outsource your programming online or find a local web developer/company? I mean, now that you are earning okay money with your site that is.

"programming" .................
I would advise you to get a professional. |
If you're smart you get the right systems architects, programmers, and database architects for the job. I've been doing software full time for over fifteen years, have another programer in my office, yet I still consult with others often. Many times, there are only a few people in the world are really the right choice for a certain part if the project, so finding them locally simply isn't an option. The RAID work we were doing last week is an example. We would have been foolish if we didn't work with one of the three people who are most qualified for that specific project.

Outsourcing is the way to go. However whether you employ someone in house or outsourced you need to keep it business like and have reasonable management skills.
Build up a team, use oDesk, I've found some great programmers on oDesk and from an employers perspective, with online monitoring of employees, team management and the payment system it certainly beats freelancing sites in terms of safety. |
