Is this normal for paysites ?
 

i have seen few pay-sites do following things

1. disguise the tour pages content.,
means putting stuff in tours that not available in members area.
this i have seen most, on tour pages the content is HD and in members area is SD.

2. False promises
we update daily.

3. use words like gazillion pics or Tons of Videos

4. Using younger looking girls on tour pages.

Well, yes it makes the police join and it increases the number of sales ?
Of course, you need a valid custodian of record.

You would think this would be common logic to anyone running a business today. This is the exact mantra we have for every single operation we run. Best thing I've ever seen posted on this board yet (well, almost, that stack of 3 chicks I saw earlier was pretty freaking awesome too!)

To the OP when you sell a product you want to accentuate the positives in a way that appeals directly the customer. It's salesmanship. There's always going to be companies that flat deceive customers to get them in the door. That is ALWAYS short-term thinking. But if that's all there is to work with then you're stuck. Fortunately there's plenty of quality sites in every niche to work with.

Up to you to decide for yourself what route to go. Short term or long term.

We had people order our best content for their tours and filled the site with crap. It was normal practice a few years ago.

Ultimately it comes down to budget, can a site owner afford to build a great site or just a great tour?
