What we should learn from the latest update
 

It seems like alot of people are seriously freaking out over this update. Some have lost a ton of traffic I imagine. Some of my sites were hit although they were only getting 150 hits a day and now down to 30. Anyway, I guess the moral to this story is don't create quantity...focus on quality instead. Also, don't expect or depend on google to make you money.

Search traffic rules. I would love to have a ton of it. But I'm going to be operating moving forward as if they don't exist. Think of SE traffic as a bonus versus a main source. I'm sure some people will tell me to shut up here because I'm not a whale affiliate or anything close but I thought it might be good to get some feedback from the peanut gallery to see what you are all thinking in terms of strategy moving forward?

OK. so the only way to get any real amount of traffic is to use a trade script.
Add one to your site and see how much google traffic you will get then to feed your site...I'll save you the hassle...0..ok..a few but basically you will lose it all. They know all the tricks and they even know what plugins you have install..
Have feedwordpress or wordpress o matic installed and not even active. They know...boom..you get les from them.

This certainly just confirmed my plan to stop buying domains completely unless I have a product to develop for it that is not affiliate related.

That's just bullshit. A site of mine without a trading script, nothing automated, 100% handwritten texts went down during Penguin, while another one using a trade script (with even higher skim than I use on other sites) went up quite a lot.

If it'd be that easy no one would still use a trade script.
