Newbies - ask me anything you'd like to know about affiliate business
Ask me anything about sponsors and how to promote them and i'll answer you in this thread. Also you can ask anything related to starting up a brand new affiliate program.
I run the biggest adult directory SignBucks.com which lists almost every sponsor and their paysites. Read this article first http://www.signbucks.com/static/make-money-in-porn A few more will be published soon |
hi,
Any good suggestion for CPM ads for publishers? Possible to skype me? |
You mean CPM ads only or CPC based on CPM ratio? Cost per click ads is much more popular and people are more willing to buy it thru traffic brokers like
TrafficHolder.com , TrafficShop.com, EroAdvertising, JuicyAds (quality banner traffic). Also some tgp networks like www.yobt.com and www.trafficgear.com are buying it on a constant basis. |
We are about to launch our website very soon with 2 contests. It's a traffic broker platform with contextual ads, banners ads, skimmed ads, popup, etc.
Do you have any suggestions how to start people beginning to refer our platform with their referral link and as fast as possible? |
Pure CPM would be good.
We are looking for CPC as well. Juicyads is big and reliable. What about the other ones you mentioned? Are they good? Do they pay? Thanks. Quote:

I'm not an expert in traffic brokers, so I won't tell you for sure. It's quite visible that adult industry is in decline, porn surfer behavior has changed as well as the market structure. One-person affiliates are leaving this business. It's rather a team work now or no work. |

Any other good ones you can recommend?

are there any stats to back that up? or is it just your personal opinion that single affiliates are leaving the business. Isn't that in itself working as a team? Some people drive traffic, some convert, some run paysites, some suck dick on camera, others produce material.
Also I dont think its in decline, as long as guys have dicks itll be for sell. I think the market is changing and the way the business works will change, but this has been happening since the beginning of time. Anybody agree? |

indeed "Some people drive traffic, some convert, some run paysites, some suck dick on camera, others produce material". but the biggest traffic sites are operated by a team, big paysites and sponsors are operated by a team. models aren't in sales business... i have been talking with numerous people over the years and that's kinda common conclusion. one man business days are over |
Ah, thanks for clarifying man. But yea, it makes sense. Oh well :(.

I have a couple questions.
What's the easiest way to get traffic to an affiliate offer without paying for traffic? Where's the best place to start if you want to get into the Dating/Webcam industry? I've made somewhere in the hundreds from posting in forums with links to picture blogs with links to Chaturbate when they still had the $1/signup program, then I switched to True.com offers and made decent money with that, although less than with Chaturbate. Now I'm looking into CrakRevenue's Free Cams Exposed, but I don't like their landers for the way I'm displaying ads. Thanks. |
Sign ups are dead. the only way to make money is to sell your traffic. sign up to plugrush and juicy ads:thumbsup

the idea with forums is pretty cool. but it's much better if you send the traffic to the site you own first, then you distribute it among a few sponsors. if a sponsor closes its doors you still remain your traffic, just change some links on your site. and test everything, traffic, promotools, sponsors and paysites, etc, etc, etc. |

MrDiez I have some questions:
1. In your article you mention a "WordPress + Tube Theme (free)" but did not include a link. Was there a particular theme you had in mind? I did a search for "Tube Theme" but the one that came up was a paid version. Is there a good free theme you've found? 2. If someone was starting out today with adult affiliate marketing which would you recommend, blogs or tube sites? (Please don't say "both".) It seems like tube sites are dominating Google results these days so I wonder if blogs are going the way of TGPs and other successful traffic generators from the past. |

it depends. there's a lot of approaches. if you have no vision how do you get a traffic - don't do any. you'll have to realize whether it could be trade traffic, SE traffic or some kind of unique source. |
