VenusBlogger 05-03-2012 03:41 PM

way better than the shitty iphone...

Paul 05-03-2012 04:12 PM

1.4 Ghz quad-core processor, up to 64GB SD Card, Impressive!

At this rate it won't be long before mobile phones will be more powerful than ultrabooks or laptops!

In a few years you will plug your phone into your monitor and keyboard when you get home and it will act as your desktop.

You can sort of do this now, but within the next 24 months it will be quite commonplace.

I think this could be the phone that finally makes me move away from iPhone.

Quoted for truth. Nexus is large, has no SD slot and there is an old GPU (SGSII has a way better one).

"Other innovations include what Samsung claims is a 'more intelligent' lock system, that keeps the screen 'awake' when the phone?s camera senses eyes watching it, rather than turning it off."

I guess it will suck the battery dry in a few hours then enabled :2 cents:

Better than iPhone yes.

New samsung Nexus is launched this month

smutnut 05-04-2012 01:54 AM

I just upgraded to the Samsung Infuse from my old phone. Now wishing I waited for this one. Course the Infuse only cost me .01 and sales tax. Might still have to trade it up. Think I have 30 days to make the decision

VladS 05-04-2012 02:51 AM

I like more the HTC One X.

nico-t 05-04-2012 03:50 AM

carrying around huge screens is such an inconvenience. Friend got a galaxy note, that is not a phone anymore it's a fucking tablet. And calling on that giant plate makes you look like a retard. I take my phone everywhere even when im getting drunk. I dont see myself going out when i have to carry a backpack just to take my phone with me.

This is the area that needs to see the most significant progress, battery life still sucks for most mobile products whether it's Laptops, phones or whatever :disgust

Galaxy S has the old GPU. The Galaxy Nexus is the Google branded version of the SGII.

the galaxy s2 has a better gpu and chipset than the nexus, s2 also has better camera and storage. the only thing that the nexus has that's better than the s2 is the bigger and higher res screen.

i've got an s2 and my wife has a galaxy note. The big screen on the note is excellent, and is great for web surfing, but its a bit big for my pocket (great for a handbag). so the bigger screen on the s3 compared with the s2 will be very appealing.

NaughtyRob 05-04-2012 09:19 AM

Too fucking big.

toootooo 05-04-2012 09:29 AM

I love my Galaxy S2 more :-D
