Our servers are compatible with TubeX, and we have set it up for another client. E-mail me at: support {at} transnoc {dot} com for TubeX compatible hosting. I'll even install it for free on your new account if you host with us.

Then don't upload it to the tubex directory. Am I missing something?

CurrentlySober 06-03-2012 10:34 AM

Why dont you have amerinoc set it up for you? After all, you ARE paying for 'Fully Managed' yes?

that's what i tried /public_html but tubex does not work it works when i put it in a folder /public_html/tubex the instructions say to do this. there must be something in the setting to redirect to domain.com not domain.com/tubex

Ok. Pop the following into a .htaccsess file and upload it to root.

Code:

rewritebase /
Redirect 302 /index.html /tubex/

Keep your tube shit in the tubex folder, and anyone who hits domain.com will be sent to domain.com/tubex automatically...

Thanks for that but i get an internal server error

Babaganoosh 06-03-2012 11:00 AM

try specifying index.php in the URL, maybe index.php isn't set up as a default index

What Babs said - I'm no code expert, but thats the exact code I used to make a domain.com goto domain.com/blog automatically for a client...

And, it was also on an Amerincoc server - PLUS AMERICNOC GAVE ME THE CODE! - So have a fiddle and you should get there ...

Alternatively send support at ANoc that code to support, and have them look at it...

I'm not one of the people who sees 'Fully Managed' and expects them to wipe my arse, but its a legit request, that I'm sure they will be happy to help with :)

AllAboutCams 06-03-2012 11:05 AM

ok i got it to work with domain.com by moving all files to /public_html but then nothing else works i.e. video url and backend

don't move it, uninstall and start from scratch, this time uploading to the base url and remember to change the chmod of the files/folders as per the instructions.

Make sure your install directory is set correctly in the global settings.
