My logic? I never said I believed anything of what was said. It was said, and I found it interesting. Just as interesting as the fact that he was also connected, like you said, to the Unibomber, the nutjob from Oklahoma, nazis, fascists, illuminatis, his mom, and other crazy things....

Sadly enough I watched parts of the trial on live TV today where it came out by the Swedish professor in history/religion. If you can read Norwegian: here is an extract. And you can search Youtube for the actual expert witness statement by the professor Mattias Gardell. It is in Swedish, so it may be hard for you to understand it - but the pictures tells a lot of the story.

If you get ticket off by the fact that it was said, well, do not kill the messenger.... it was said.

I think "tied" and "linked" and such words are used in trials or press reports a bit much. Then you get people come along and ad-lib off of that, for example lets use sarah palin saying obama "palled around with terrorists" because some whack job was at the same location as Obama sometime in the remote past. A bit of a stretch wouldnt you say?

Maybe he was 0.001% persuaded by something he read, maybe 99.009%, maybe 0%, maybe 100%. It kind of sort of doesn't really matter at all. His brain, his hand, his gun, his crime.

Cmon man! We are in the age of the 24hr new cycle and instant gratification. What do facts, reason and a complete story have to do with anything? All ya gotta do is infer, imply, suggest or say "is reportedly being reported" as a disclaimer at the end of the sensationalist article and you're good.
