Setup tutorial for NATS?
Anyone know of a clear cut setup tutorial for NATS?
i.e. This is how you setup your join page = click link it works This is how you setup your biller = click link it works This is how you setup the affiliate page = click link it works This is how you setup the affiliate signup page = click link it works I had this installed last week and i'm frustrated spending more time in this maze (DAYS) and NO TIME to focus on my content, marketing and actual money making business. The guys at NATS are great! But after you get off the phone you have to remember which step in the 5 admins does what and which Icon does what etc. I'm not one to keep pestering people for help through support tickets with something and I'm great with programming. There has to be a more efficient way, a clear cut setup tutorial for program owners? -- |

With that said, have you used our wiki at http://www.tmmwiki.com ? There are lots of articles there detailing various actions in NATS. Here is a check list of things to do before going live: http://wiki.toomuchmedia.com/index.p...Live_Checklist For a higher level overview there is the Post Installation Steps article at http://wiki.toomuchmedia.com/index.p...allation_Steps Also, your walkthrus are recorded & should be provided to you in case you need to reference them. If they were not provided to you, please let us know so we can make sure you get them. A definitive "do exactly this" style tutorial for NATS is a difficult task as many people setup many aspects very differently. The checklist above should provide you a list of what you need to do and links to get those items accomplished. Keep in mind, if you need further assistance, just reach out to us. |
It is maddening at first but the nice thing is you only need to do the setup once and you are done.
Just keep making tickets, make a new one every time you have a question. Eventually your own resolved tickets will be the tutorial you need. |
Thanks John. You guys have been great from the beginning. Tired here not angry :winkwink:
I've been working off http://wiki.toomuchmedia.com/index.p...Live_Checklist for quite a while now. I thought each step was done, checked everything twice. Can't get a simple join page to work past the initial default page after inputting all that data. I know that once I get a handle on your system it will be fine but it seems it's going to take a lot longer, and more help then I expected, to get setup. That's my issue not yours. I'll keep plugin away and hit up your support guys. I just don't like taking up your resources and would rather do it on my own. Thanks again |

If they spent a fraction of their GFY, damage control, and PR time and energy on their knowledge base, and tutorials, you would have a much better system in place, and they would get more clients or customers. The learning curve on many of the software is compounded by the lack of any real answers in their so-called KB's. :2 cents: |

Mechbunny - postback from nats by just putting a single line in your tour under user management in the "management url" field http://domain.com/postback_nats.php <-- not supposed to be an actual link Netbilling - Just setup your pricing in nats and it will send those join options directly through to your merchant account, with out ever having to mess around in netbilling. Unlike using a 3rd party ISPS where you have to set up your price points, get them approved occasionally, then find all the secret codes for them and add them to your tour and join option fields. The only hassle is getting your SSL certificates and configuring your gateway_join template set up to use them. Oh, and don't forget to add some PHP redirect to the join page in Mechbunny so it sends surfers to your nats tour instead of loading the internal free join form. |
John and his team are great. TMM support is top of the line and you wont find anything better then that. I use linktrust and hasoffers for my other ventures and their level of support is miles away from TMM.
