If CCBill still processes for Oron, here is the solution: A STRIKE
 

Someone wrote in another thread that CCBill can process for legit sites or piracy sites, they'll make money either way, and I replied:

"Yes but because porn is sold through Oron at relatively much lower prices, CCBill is making much less money.

For example, take 1000 porn sites selling monthly subscriptions for $29.95 each. At 10% processing fee, that's $2995 per month for CCBill.

Now all those 1000 sites get ripped and the content can be downloaded for free from Oron.com, or people can buy a faster account for $29.95, with $2.96 for CCBill.

So it's $2995 or $2.96 per month for CCBill."

There is less money in piracy than there is in porn. People go to pirate sites because they don't want to pay for porn and oron.com is free, people only pay for faster downloads.

If CCBill doesn't understand this, it's easy to convince them: all site owners on here just stop accepting new CCBill memberships during a day. That will cause a huge loss of sales for CCBill during that day, making them think again.

I propose July 1 for this. It will be the Eurocup finals (between Holland and Russia), we can all enjoy watching the games then without having to give support to dumb new members who don't know how to view a video in Media Player or want a refund because it was their son using their credit card, in the mean time CCBill can enjoy their shitty sales during that day.

I overlooked something in my calculation: the amount of daily transactions and the 30 days in a month.
Let's say 40 transactions (new and recurring billing) per site (I'm taking a mid size site here) per day.
So from processing for 1000 legit sites CCBill makes 1000 x 40 x 30 x 29.95 x 10% = $3,594,000 per month.

From processing for oron.com and killing the 1000 legit sites with that, they make 1 x 40 x 30 x 29.95 x 10% = $3,594 per month.

The problem is that some of us think that we need Visa, MC and CCBill, but in fact it's the other way around. First there were whores and porn, then there were credit cards. It's us producing the materials the credit card companies AND the pirates make their profit from, so we're the one in charge. But most of us are shitting their pants for these shady payment processors.

So I say again: let's have a strike. Let them have the lousy pirate money for a day, or even for a week, and think again.
