GFY notifications, WTF?

Yeah - it's more than a little annoying.

seems a little random, some notifications are sent out, others are not, even after unsubscribing

I've NEVER gotten a notification, despite being set to instant notifications. Maybe I have some other setting f-ed up.

I just set up filters to send everything straight to delete. Problem solved.

You can turn OFF your subscriptions, or your notifications, just like you do on any other forum. Stop crying and do some level of due diligence in changing your settings. Every now and then you can take it upon yourself to handle your own fucking problems.

It's a sudden change and the board seems to have picked up a bit since. Obvious why it was turned on.

The problem is getting a notification on a thread you just looked at and getting one for every post. Goes over the top.

Turning them off for this post and thread. Let's see if it works.

I like them... just unsubscribe when I don't care about a thread anymore. I'm glad they FINALLY work!

Yep. I reset my GFY settings and Im still getting them.

Now going to have to set up mail filters.
