any brew from austria is great ('cept kapsreiter which seriously stands out like a sore thumb among the smooth austrian beverages) ... ok, i am german, but i must admit - austrian beer tops the german stuff ... try smth from HIRTER to start with ;)

Pretty much anything from Samuel Smith's Brewery is good (except for the Oatmeal Stout -that shit's nasty), but this is by far the best Porter I've ever had.
