Most trusted valued news source for you?

well .........

Tijuana_Tom 06-25-2012 10:23 PM

Why you mad bro?

You forgot all of the decent news outlets btw.

Not to mention The Onion.

NathanFabianManwin will say Mike South.

johnnyloadproductions 06-25-2012 10:25 PM

Some good ones listed but I get the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Get the eprint on my iPad.

Mike Honcho 06-25-2012 10:27 PM

99.9% of all news sources are controlled by big brother, thus there truly isn't a reliable source of news. It's all hot topic issues and celebrity garbage.

Due 06-25-2012 11:22 PM

You forgot GFY, the best news source ever.
Every aspect is always covered and you can participate in discussions without even knowing what you are discussing :pimp

AllAboutCams 06-25-2012 11:25 PM

Scott McD 06-25-2012 11:37 PM

none listed

oppoten 06-26-2012 04:32 AM

The BBC is as biased as the big American networks. They're just more subtle about it.

I like RT, which is also biased but offers a different perspective.

MrCain 06-26-2012 04:33 AM

None of those can be trusted.

Freaky_Akula 06-26-2012 04:36 AM

You forgot to include Infowars.

The Beeb is only biased to the centre and not either wing; but yes it is biased to moderates.

I personally listen to NPR, watch Al Jazeera and Channel 4 News here in the UK, read the Independent if I pick a paper up.

Occasionally I watch Fox News but only because I find it really funny.

Sunny Day 06-26-2012 04:49 AM

News

I read http://truth-out.org/
They get on both the left & right

http://nymag.com/tags/intel/politics/
Is a little more fun to read

MrCain 06-26-2012 08:45 AM

Russia Today

Vjo 06-26-2012 09:45 AM

DV Times - my mind is clear of the 99% BS that "the news" provides.

One of the best moves I ever made. If it's important DV will tell me :)

Sometimes my stumble button will hit a news article, that's about it. Stopped watching tv a while back and don't visit any of those sites. I'm in Fl and I didn't know about the tropical depression forming until yesterday when it started pouring/flooding. :1orglaugh :Oh crap

EddyTheDog 06-26-2012 09:53 AM

The BBC is the best of a bad bunch....

baddog 06-26-2012 09:53 AM

You missed GFY and to top it off, you only named one that I even watch. GFY is faster than the rest though.

Tijuana_Tom 06-26-2012 09:54 AM

Most people will say the Russian Today network and Al Jazeera.

Where is the Mutt vS. DVTimes grade school fight?

Spunky 06-26-2012 09:56 AM

My local news, but GFY has always been pretty fast

DWB 06-26-2012 10:03 AM

Al Jazeera is the best, hands down.

Our satellite gets news from literally all over the world, many are English speaking, and I can say that without question, Al Jazeera is the best and tackles real stories that should be news. Any network that Bush and Blair wanted to bomb and take off the air, is the one you should be listening to.

LOL :thumbsup That is one problem with zero news.

Way worth it tho. Actually I read GFY and I THINK Romney is running against Obama LOL :)

Vjo 06-26-2012 10:17 AM

When I hit 95 :) I will be glad for the 3 years of life I did something else besides hear what unfortunate thing happened to so and so.

What am I gonna do about it? Simply dont need to know and in fact it is BETTER not to know what "your" probs are :)

PR_Glen 06-26-2012 10:22 AM

i have the unique ability to read from multiple sources and come to my own conclusions, which also includes a built in bs detector. you should all give it a try.. that way you don't believe everything you read.

Voodoo 06-26-2012 10:36 AM

None of the above.

MattPIVO 06-26-2012 12:57 PM

The Financial Times

cykoe6 06-26-2012 01:04 PM

I prefer the London Telegraph.

Also, I find CNBC has good info as well because the only spin they care about is dollar and cents not left or right... :pimp

marcop 06-26-2012 01:29 PM

I read the NY Times every day, but trust the BBC more. I read Al Jazeera frequently too.

Al Jazeera, depending on the section, is quite good. Has the same liberal slant as other media outlets but its all good-one of the first thing some kids learn in junior high is to read with a filter on.

I read a wide variety of sources, about a wide variety of topics everyday, because I do not like to rely on one source for my information, and I am interested and passionate about many issues.

With that said, I enjoy watching MSNBC because of it's liberal/left leaning perspective, and I hit these websites on a regular basis, since I like reading investigative news stories:

http://www.rawstory.com/

http://www.alternet.org/

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/

http://www.thenation.com/

http://www.motherjones.com/

http://mediamatters.org/

I also like to follow Rachel Maddow, Michael Moore, Matt Taibbi, and Jeremy Scahill.

Other sources I check out on a regular basis include WSJ, Forbes, NPR, Moyers, Huffington Post, NYT, RT, AJ, and I will read articles from National Review, Drudge Report, etc., plus I even get a kick out of watching Faux News from time to time.
