Put a few ounces of water in a cup, add a tablespoon or two of ACV and a little bit of honey. Drink it 2 or 3 times a day. You'll notice it working within a day or two.

After a few days you can drop down to taking it once a day. And if it gets bad again just take it more.

Stuff is magic. Highly recommended. And it's really good for you. :)

I think I have allergies in my meat stick because it keeps perpetually dripping a thin, milky white substance

This is a dangerous condition and you should amputate it as soon as possible

I starated a 3-year course in February and the results are AMAZING. I still can't believe how well I am feeling right now; I've had very bad allergies since I was 10 years old and I mean itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing every 10 seconds, and feeling horrible all day long even when on antihistamins.

Started on Staloral and to be perfectly honest, I never expected such huge improvement so quickly; not tkaing it right now since its the pollen season, but I will start again in September. If your allergies are just irritating you, then try a few antihistamins and see which one works best for you, if they become really bad, then see your doctor and consider immunotherapy...

peppermint solved my allergy problem here. It's not hokum like a lot of home remedies it's actually been studied.

peppermint tea works hot or cold and instantly for me. I eat the fresh stuff in a smoothie occasionally as well.

Eat the pollen off the trees, your body will learn to recognize it and not overreact.

Works for me... I crush the husks of the pine trees that are the main culprits for pollen around here, lick the powder and it seems to keep me allergy free. This isn't just superstition, there was a paper I read a while back that speculated on the mechanism this may work under.

There is nothing worse than the allergy induced coma. You can check out pollen.com to get an idea of the pollen count in your area. Of course, it depends what you are allergic to so that site may not be a good forecast for you. Alegra D works well for me and doesn't make me drowsy.

People that don't have allergies just can't understand the suck that they are and how much they can really affect a person.

alergy against sun here, zyrtec is my hero :thumbsup :Oh crap

I just love all the home made medicines. As long as you believe they work, they will work.

Barefootsies 07-13-2012 08:02 AM

My sinuses and allergies used to be a killer Spring and Fall. Summers would vary. All the same, I would be on some sort of allergy medicine literally 75% of the year. It was getting worse with age to be sure.

Then.... I changed my diet, drank more water, worked in some exercise and poof. Most of it gone. I rarely have to take any pills for it any longer. I do still take Flonase on occasion. However, with the amount of vitamin C I drink daily, has majorly helped.

I was on vacation a few months back where my diet changed because I was away. Needless to say, withing roughly 48 hours my allergies were back like a mothafucka. Reinforcing what I had already read up on in regards to vitamins, diet, and allergies.

Once I returned, I went back on normal regiment, rarely an issue.

:2 cents:

Make sure the honey you use is made as close to you as is possible, local honey has all of the antibodies you need to fight the allergies in your area. We used to buy just any old honey in the store, but someone let us in on this and we've been using honey daily in allergy seasons and we don't have near the allergy issues we used to have.

Just add a teaspoon of local honey to your area in something or just a teaspoon of it plain, per day and after a little while you will see a marked improvement in the allergy issues. ;)

I don't like the taste of it myself, but my husband slides it on me in some form or another, thinking I don't taste it, but I humor him and eat it. lol

CourtneyR 07-13-2012 08:12 AM

Theo 07-13-2012 08:22 AM
