I have though about this, and if the site is hosted in a country with free speech laws, then I think it would not be a problem, as you would be making things with freedom, that laws give you. But perhaps they would ban you from China and reject you any chinese visa you request.

Actually I am not really sure if they would actually discover that. I have seen that most of the porn sites are not blocked by their general firewall.

There are 2 main problems for chinese adult sites, 1) payment and 2) chinese firewall.

Regarding payment, you can do many alipay accounts but then since would be closed with funds freezed always, you can't count on this for a stable business, is a joke. Some chinese have credit cards, I seen them use visa and mc in our cam site, but best would be to use alipay (even paypal it allows to connect with locan bank accounts so everyone can pay - but paypal does not allow adult again).
