Do you think it was more about the photographer, and less about the camera used? I haven't read it yet, doing that now.

Partially yes but when you look at how it was done and the margins its pretty clear that the GH2 stands up to anything even at 10x the price...I wouldnt have guessed it either. My money would have been on the Ari....

i was at a supermarket recently, they were shooting a commercial using the 7D.

Only fair to mention thought that it wasn't just a stock GH2. There is a hack to the firmware and also you need a lot of add-ons for pro use (audio, rig etc.) but point is still solid sometimes its not about the bells and whistles.
And of course in the words of Chase Jarvis "the best camera is the one you have with you" |
