Posting Twice As Many Blog Posts?
 

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who increased their rate of posting as to what effect it had on sales?

Let's say for example, you've got a blog which you update once per day, it makes say $2,000 per month, what would happen if you increased to 2 updates per day? Or 3?

Has anyone ran tests?

You are FAR better off to double the amount of blogs. Preferably on their own domains, going after different phrases in your niche... but wpmu blogs on any host are very effective with exact match names.

What about if it was a blog that you'd put a lot of effort into over the years, so it would be hard to come up with another blog of the same standing?

Then one could compare which was producing more new sales :thumbsup

It does seem to be a far better technique to bring in sales :thumbsup

I wonder, if you've got a big blog, with history and bookmarkers, if it is easy to make a lot more money by posting more frequently

more blogs = spreading the risk.

more blogs = opportunity to approach the same subject from different angles.

more blogs = opportunity to spread the same opinion on a subject/product/service (manufacturing consent style).

This is true. It's also easier to get traffic IMO

I've had different results depending on traffic, some blogs I was updating daily, others I got sidetracked with other sites and not updated but seen increased sales so go figure.
