AutoHotKey - macros
I've used AutoHotKey for a while, but it doesn't seem to work will with Windows 7.
Does anyone else have a recommendation for a similar piece of software? Thanks. |

Anyone use anything?
I can't believe that people here would not use these. |

AutoHotKey screwed with my video encodes. It added blank dropouts and loud scratches to the final video. I couldn't figure out what was causing it at first, but when I tracked it down it was AHK.

I do see AutoHotKey doing weird shit. "AutoKey" for Linix is soooo much better, I can't find anything as good for Windows. |
I have tried the newer versions of Adobe Premiere, but I LOVE the simplicity of Premiere 6.5 (Not CS6... It'd be like version -1 or -2 if you were trying to fit it into today's naming system).
Since I moved to 64 bit it wouldn't install anymore, so I've setup a dual-boot system with XP 32bit. The only video program on the xp partition is Premiere 6.5. The program is great alone, but when you start installing other video encoding programs (and AHK) it will cause it to not have a locked line from the program to the file it's making... and when the other programs start doing stuff it introduces black dropouts. It's not like I was using AHK when I was editing... just having it running caused the dropouts. |
