i know why. its easier to buy one then getting them to approve one for you. They shot me down, but plenty of other XXX rated producers are there. they just did a good job lying their way onto the site.

they suck. i've lost a bunch of them. easy to get a new account BUT the bad part is if the mods recognize your models or photography you'll get deleted again. total double standard going on on MM, some porn guys get a free pass on there.

I have tried to get a couple accounts and have always been banned. I talked to a guy I know who works at their parent company and he also said the MODs on the site are nazi-like and they are VERY anti-porn.

I guess it comes down to what they define as 'porn'. Obviously there's tons of nudies...but very little hard stuff. Funny how they don't seem to mind fetish, though. I took down all my adult stuff from my portfolio ages ago...just a vanilla/mainstream portfolio these days. I'm not very active on MM lately. Too many flaky models for my liking.

Don?t do porn business on ModelMayhem. Contact models and have them email you. Do your business talk off the site, not in PMs. If you do it in PMs you leave the evidence for the models to report you. They won?t boot you if you do your business off the site and your portfolio doesn?t lead to porn related sites. Use it to your advantage, but don?t abuse it :thumbsup

Ken Marcus and Dean Capture are well known porn producers who are allowed to network in modelmayhem for adult/porn.

Modelmayhem and Purestorm won't let me on despite posting all the required exif data and the tasteful pics I can muster up as a "photographer" etc.

Really pisses me off as I am at a HUGE disadvantage trying to secure new girls for shoots.

I tried Craigslist (just to see if the ads would work, plenty of adult stuff on there) over here in the UK and it was a complete waste of time with trolls and time wasters!

Is there any legitimate alternative beyond <shudder> Craigslist?

MM is full of scammers and flakes just like any model site

OMP used to be Ok but they are pretty worthless anymore as well

sexyjobs is good but 9 out of ten "models" will never respond

your best bet is ALWAYS referrals from girls you have already shot

This is the reason he keeps banning all my accounts since 2010: I posted a casting call that mentioned "hustler style" modeling. Then, without warning, he bans my account for "porn networking". And ever since he has been banning all my new accounts, with the reason "you were banned before".

Dammit...but I think mikesouth is right...will just rely on referrals from now on...I have a small list of models that I have previously worked with that I think might work.

I can sit here all day and post over 1000 photos that models put in their profiles that are porn.

I you sell out to Manwin/Fabian like Dean Capture, maybe they will allow you to use MM to porn network through MM.

I now have two MM accounts that are very low key to look for new models. I do not use the style of photos I normally shoot.
The mods know my style as well and ban me in two seconds flat.

Took me so long to get approved that I wouldn't sell it! Good luck though
