oh my ... i received his very last email in which he asked for my "in case of" email addy on tuesday morning (monday evening for him in jackson TN) ... and today i got this mail from his mom:

I am Hunter Hodge's mom (retnuh.com).  He gave me this email address
and asked me to contact you regarding his websites....traffic in and traffic out. 
Hunter took his life this past Monday.  He left me a letter asking me to get in
touch with you so you could post on the major industry forums that his business
was no longer operational.  A bad economy and hard times hit Hunter pretty bad.
I have many unanswered questions and guess I always will. If you could handle this
 for Hunter I would appreciate it.  I guess you know what he means.

Have done business with him quite a bit in the past, just haven't for years. That's a shame, and only 35. It blows my mind that people just think that suicide is the only way out. There are so many other fucking alternatives.

I'll drink one for him.

EDIT: His hard link clicks he used to send from that site were fucking solid gold back in the day.

Just curious what his email said to you on Monday night, did it reference possibly ending his life?

I always hate to hear that people took their own life, especially over money.

My heart goes out to his mother who had to write that email and as she said, continue to have many unanswered questions.
