not really - 2500 per shoot X 18 = 45K - editing costs, design, - so 50K - he's looking to make a profit.

so in my book that = over priced

and you cant value the scenes at 2500 if that is what it might cost to shoot them today

they are still old scenes

you can just get new stuff filmed and many would shoot it for less than 2500 a scene

Is a bit overpriced IMO. But looks to be a decent site. Strays away from the niche a bit from the looks of it too.

they're not old, i see current well known porn talent - they could have been shot a year ago, costs weren't cheaper a year ago.

Cost of scene:

Female talent - ~$800
Male talent - ~$400
Agency fees - ~$100-200
Location fee - ~$400

not going to find any good shooter to shoot for much less than $2500 - times are tough so maybe somebody takes the job for $2000-2200

starting from scratch you're talking 4-6 months probably to put together a site like that - he's selling it ready to launch practically tomorrow. if the site is going to make $5K a month profit by the time you start from scratch and launch this turnkey site has already made you $20K

not saying i'd pay what he's asking, just saying it's not unreasonable for him to ask for that much.

18 hardcore scenes would get you a discount if you bulk order them and prepay

i say 2k a scene max for 18 custom exclusive B/G scenes today (although i know some that would do it for even less)

and he did not mention if all 18 scenes were hardcore, i see some that might only have BJs

it is a very hard sell either way at that price

we tried selling old exclusive B/G scenes that were never used for much less than it cost and we were only able to sell a few scenes instead of the whole thing, ppl are picky which is another reason why shooting new is better than used

he would be lucky to even get half of what he is asking
