On a daily basis, as their main browser... not just to browser cross check things.

And what would you do if a service you wanted to use said it doesn't support internet explorer?

I do and anything I do that don't support IE I goto chrome or FF *shrugs* my mom on the other hand hates Ie and use chrome and FF each to their own I guess.

IE9 is the best IE flavor since about IE3 IMHO .... but still far too insecure to use as a main browser!

I use different browsers for different things, and because of that IE is one of them. I use FF as my main browser for real work stuff. IE is for boards, stats, and personal stuff like sports sites. I also use Chrome and Opera for stuff. But FF is my primary.

No fucking way. IE has sucked for at least 10 yrs.

I've never used IE, but any site that doesn't work on a major browser can fuck off. It would have to be a site I needed to use, for me to try a different browser. Ironically, that used to happen with sites that required IE.

I don't use it, it's not user friendly for me ( I mean settings and couple more things during daily usage ). I prefer Chrome & FF

only load it to check compatability, same with opera, safari, and firefox.

I only use FF to surf however I must check pages in IE and I have 2 major website interfaces I use that must use IE only.

Many city, county and state sites only work in IE too...

What a pain in the ass.

I use it for GFY and hardly anything else. No flash and if there's a link I want to click, I paste it into firefox.

I use it as my regular browser, Firefox is too slow to load, Chrome I don't like the feel of. If a site has to use a different browser, then it'll be Chrome.

I'd rather use an Etchasketch :1orglaugh to "browse" the net then IE... So no, I do not use it. Ok, I do use it to check sites that I make, but that's about it.

Aw man, that takes balls to admit you use IE.

I use different browsers for different things I have to do. Such as: If I want to check out my forums I use IE. For my SEO work I use FF because of so many bitchin toolbars. And last but not least I use chrome for casually browsing the web.

Wow... thanks for all the feedback! The reason I asked is that the webmaster platform we are building is having serious problems with IE9 and on the werge on going into closed beta I'd hate to have to take shit apart just to cater to IE fans.

So I hope the replies here are representative in terms of the average adult webmaster ;)
