Has anyone found them any use to get sales?

Most I have seen, seem to be mainly used by webmasters to promote content, but do not seem to have many viwers.

Do these sites get hits or just rank badly in google?

Pinterest works due to the huge nomber of users, but these clone sites seem rather dead.
